Abstract
Our project is a completely automated parking system that works on the basis of a license plate recognition algorithm that communicates to a website. The algorithm is implemented in MATLAB. An Arduino acts as the brain of the project controlling the display, taking the signals from the proximity sensor and sending the details to our website. A processing unit such as a pc runs the MATLAB code in real time. The website will be set up using an appropriate host and a registered domain.
The basic functions of some of the devices are a camera to capture the image of the license plate, a proximity sensor to make sure the correct is in the perfect position to capture the image, a wifi module to connect our Arduino to the internet and an LCD display to show relevant information to the user.

Abstract
Shortage of proper resources of electricity is a major concern these days. Proper monitoring and utilization of these resources by consumers can help reduce this shortage and enable humans to achieve the goal of taking electricity to even those parts of the world which are still in darkness.
In this proposed system, the total energy consumption in a household can be monitored by the consumer on a mobile app as well as the power consumed by the heavy loading devices like washing machine, TV etc. The devices whose power consumption is measured will be controlled by the mobile app through wifi and the microcontroller. When multiple devices are switched on, or when the current rates are high, notifications are received t the consumer.

Abstract
Our day to day life is being largely dependent on electronics and it’s by products. New technologies emerge everyday that reduce the human effort. The election process is one of the most confidential and secure process undertaken in a country. With a large population it is evident that India conducts a very systematic election process. But taking an overview shows us that the faster growth of technology hasn’t affected the election system much. An election system designed must satisfy basically two factors. It should be both secure and should be cost effective to be implemented on a larger scale. Thus we have to come up with a system that satisfies both the above condition. The project is aimed at developing a complete election system along with a smart Election Id that is both secure and cost effective. It includes a biometric scanning system for the unique identification of the person.
